"The design of NoseFrida means that the child's nose cannot be damaged, and I know that after having used NoseFrida on my two children that the nasal aspirator is both effective and children find it tolerable to use. (...) To sum up, I consider NoseFrida to be an excellent self-care product that improves the quality of life for small children with colds who experience breathing problems through the nose, as well as eating and sleeping problems caused by upper respiratory tract infections."

Recommendation

Recommendation

"I see it as a good complement to other self-care methods such as saline solution and head in elevated position. It is also apparent that using NoseFrida® does not cause any complications for the child or the user. To sum up therefore, I think that NoseFrida® can be recommended as a complement in a self-care context."

Nasal aspirator for small children with colds: Results of questionnaire study

"Use of the nasal aspirator can quickly reduce the secretion stagnation in the nose, facilitate food intake and alleviate sleeping problems. The nasal aspirator can be an important complement to the advice and instructions that are available from child care centres or chemists."

Certificate concerning the nose aspirator Nosefrida

Certificate concerning the nose aspirator Nosefrida

"The nose aspirator can in most cases alleviate the trouble, and clinical trials that have been performed in a ten-year period show that the nose aspirator is harmless, and in a majority of cases relieves the patient's acute problems. The design of the nose aspirator precludes irritation of the susceptible nasal mucosa, and there is no indication in the clinical studies that points to a further increase of nasal secretion when using the aspirator."

Testimonial microbiological evaluation of the nasal aspirator for small children

Bacteriological evaluation of NoseFrida®, a nose-suction device intended for use in young children with common cold

"The investigation clearly demonstrates that the NoseFrida device if used as intended by the manufacturer is safe regarding the risk of bacterial transfer from the infected child to the nurse."

From Swedish ÖHN journal

Can nasal floral from children with colds contaminate the user when using the NoseFrida® nasal aspirator?

"The nasal aspirator has been evaluated by paediatricians and Child Care Centre staff. The evaluation shows that the use of NoseFrida® improves breathing and sleep, over a period when you have a cold with increased nasal secretion. Even food intake is facilitated and the effects of saline drops increase. (...) The study shows that there is no risk of pathogen transmission from the child to the user."

"The colds of small children are often difficult to treat as the child is unable to blow his nose by himself. The secretion stagnation in the nose that arises in connection with a cold, aggravates breathing, breastfeeding and night sleep. NoseFrida can alleviate these problems and thereby represents a good complement to other therapies such as nasal spray, head in elevated position and saline solution."
